The Suzy Lamplugh Trust<\/a> has partnered with the London Cyber Resilience Centre<\/a> \u2013 one of nine police-led centres across England and Wales that make up the Cyber Resilience Centre network \u2013 to strengthen staff awareness of cyber resilience and their website security.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Established in 1986, the Suzy Lamplugh Trust, is the UK\u2019s pioneering personal safety charity and leading stalking authority. Responsible for the education of millions of lone workers in personal safety over three and a half decades, the charity has also supported over 70,000 victims and survivors of stalking to date and played a pivotal role to driving changes in the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cybercrime is something that can impact on any organisation \u2013 whatever its size, location or sector \u2013 costing, money, reputation, customers and confidence. Speaking about why the Suzy Lamplugh Trust is making cyber resilience a priority, Head of Finance, Phillippa Smart, said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhilst we have not had any \u2018successful\u2019 cyber attacks to date we have received numerous phishing emails. Luckily until now, we have caught these but it is definitely something we have to be vigilant about.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn addition, we have found that 100% of the stalking cases we support are now linked to cyber in some way. So it is an issue we are constantly reviewing so we can give the most up-to-date advice to our clients.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

In support of charities like the Suzy Lamplugh Trust, as well as micro, small and medium-sized businesses across all sectors, the London Cyber Resilience Centre offers a range of high-quality and affordable services. These services are delivered by university students involved in the national Cyber PATH programme \u2013 a unique talent pipeline, administered by the National Cyber Resilience Centre Group<\/a>, which empowers students to help embed cyber resilience across the UK economy. <\/p>\n\n\n
