NEBRC\u00a0has announced the\u00a0launch a completely free 24\/7\u00a0emergency\u00a0response service for any business\u00a0or individual who\u00a0finds\u00a0themselves\u00a0under a\u00a0cyber\u00a0attack.<\/p>\n\n
Expertise is now only a phone call away with selected Expert Partners available to offer free, initial support that could help to lessen the impact of a cyber attack from the outset.<\/p>\n\n
NEBRC Director Supt Rebecca Chapman explained: \u201cWe are aware that one of the worst moments for anyone who has been attacked is quickly understanding the implications and knowing which way to turn. Our new service gives a direct route to immediate assistance that\u2019s usually only available if you\u2019re signed up a with a private provider.<\/p>\n\n
\u201cOur experience has shown that by seeking immediate support and guidance it can lessen the impact of an attack.\u00a0First and foremost, we always advise businesses and individuals to get in touch with their local police force, but by also engaging with one of our Expert Partners it could help with damage limitation in those crucial first minutes and hours.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n
\u201cAll of our seven partners have committed to offering an hour\u2019s support for free and, once the immediate actions have been carried out, the business then has a choice of which path, if any, they wish to take next.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
