A new North West Cyber Student Chapter event has been announced as part of a regular calendar of events for any student studying cybersecurity in the North West.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This new event, ‘Life After University: Cyber Security Edition’ feature several short talks from Cyber Security Experts sharing how they found their feet after graduating – come and network with fellow Cyber Security students!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our next Student Chapter event takes place on Tuesday the 21st March
With over 200 students already part of the North West Student Chapter, this is an opportunity to be part of a growing community of cybersecurity students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We will open with Andrew Snowden, Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for Lancashire. Speakers include; Ian Peers, Director of Cyber Security at CGI and Janet Coulthurst from 6Point6 who will talk about women in tech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This event will also feature a short panel discussion with current Cyber Resilience Centre Junior Ethical Hackers. They will talk about their experience working for the Cyber Resilience Centre, their role and what opportunities it\u2019s opened up for them outside of university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
